When should I first bring in my puppy to be groomed?
We recommend bringing your puppy in as soon as possible, once safe to do so after they have been vaccinated. This will allow them to be introduced to the sights and sensations involved with a groom, and will help get them used to the routine of being groomed. As every puppy's coat is different and will not be fully grown out, we recommend with a simple bath and dry and maintenance regime for their first few times.
How long will it take for my pet to be groomed?
Grooming timeframes are dependant on the type and breed of your pet, but you can typically between 1 and 2 hours for a regular groom, for a pet whose coat is in typical condition. A more complete groom can take between 2-3 hours to complete. Our friendly staff will be able to provide further information dependant on your specific pet.
How much does it cost to have my pet groomed?
As every pet is unique and has different requirements, we highly recommend that you get in contact with our team either by phone or contact form.
How should I prepare my pet before having them groomed?
We suggest allowing your pet to relieve themselves prior to the grooming session, particularly if they are anxious. This will help prevent any unnecessary accidents and will allow them to be more comfortable during the session. We also recommend not being present during the grooming process; this is because your pet will move around and try to get close to you.
How often should I get my pet groomed?
Every 4-6 weeks is the average timeframe we recommend to have your pet groomed. Bathing at home is also a good idea to keep on top of any unwanted odours, and to ensure that your pet's coat can look its best without matting and dirt.
